Sometimes a B (or - yes - even a D) is okay...

Well - it's about 6:30 Friday morning...and all I can think of is that there is no way that I'm going to get everything done by Monday that I need to - no way at all. I'm already behind in school (had two six page papers due yesterday that I've just started - final papers that is), some more work to do on our master bathroom, some work to do in our kitchen, a TON of cleaning to do (including the garage where it looks like a bomb went off), yard work, and more school work - and it all needs to get done this weekend...but oh yeah - I'm taking Jamie and we're heading out of town for her birthday because she is a higher priority than all of the above (that should get me out of some chores...okay, probably not).
So it's Friday...we'll be gone Saturday afternoon until Sunday afternoon...and this stuff has got to get done by Monday?!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!.....HA HA HA HA HA HA! Ha!...ha.........ha ha.....ha....okay - I'm crying now.
It's at times like this when a person must take a realistic look at their time and responsibilities and remember that sometimes we cannot get all A's...sometimes...we get B's...or C's...or D's...and you know what IT'S OKAY!!! And I'm not just talking about getting bad grades in school...it goes for every every area of ones life...you've got to take care of the really important stuff (relationships) and sometimes you just don't have much left for the other stuff...and you can only give what you've got. But at the end of the day...that's okay, because it's the relationships that are going to last anyways...I can settle for a bad grade at school, I can push of appointments, and I can upset folks at work...but my friends and family will be around a long time.
I've pretty much come to the understanding, that there is no way I'm going to be able to get all of the stuff done that I need to (oh yeah - forgot that I've got three weeks of past assignments that are overdue)...and I okay with that. Just another day to live for Jesus and love people. And oh yeah, if you happen to be in the area and you're free this evening...HEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!! :)
