Me and Jamie's East Coast Christmas adventures...

Well - we're about to head back to the Northwest...in like 4 hours. I need to get to sleep but I like to get things down while their still fresh in my head.
We had a good time out here...though the trip out here was a bit crazy. To make a long story as short as possible...when we were leaving Portland, they decided to take our plane (which was ready to go for us) to Seattle to use it up there which meant that we had to wait for another plane about 5 hours later...which meant that we were going to miss our connecting flight in Chicago. A couple of SUPER long lines later, we got a room at the Hilton in Chicago - compliments of United Airlines, slept for 3 hours, then jumped on a flight to Baltimore and got in early on Christmas day (instead of late Christmas eve). I know that sounds painless...but those lines were SUPER long and the three hours of sleep about did us both in...but we had a good time and it was cool to get to stay at the Hilton.
Once here we did the regular thing...Christmas at Kathy's (my mother-in-law) with Kathy, Bill (father-in-law), Jen (sister-in-law), Buck (brother-in-law), and Jamie and me....then we headed down to Jamie's Aunt and Uncle's place (Greg and Michelle - "Mike") and had the bigger family Christmas down there. The next day we headed up to Pennsylvania to see Jamie's cousins and we came back late that same day.
After that craziness...I pretty much just played my new Wii (thanks to my mother-in-law, Kathy) for the next couple of days. :) It's pretty sweet...we got the Wii, the Wii Fit, Mario Kart, Playground, a snow boarding game, and then I went out and bought Medal of Honor and another remote. The Wii fit is pretty cool...though my character sort of plumped up when it weighed me...:)...seriously. If you're overweight your character gets fatter. :) Crazy. It's been a lot of fun and we've had a good time hanging out with the family.
Now we head home and my family will be getting in to town. We'll have our big family Christmas (all the aunts, uncles, and cousins...and my Grandma) early on the 1st, and then just our family (Mom, Dad, and our fam) that evening....it should be a lot of fun...it's always good to hang out with the bros....and I'm really looking forward to seeing my nephew Ethan...I'll try to put up our newest pics of him when we get home....for now, I'd best try to get some sleep.
