Looking for a job...

Well, the last couple of weeks have been good...I've been working for a guy in our old church...cutting down trees, pulling blackberries, and planting Christmas trees. It's been nice to get out and just work...no thinking involved. I'll admit though, it's been a long time since I've worked that many hours of manual labor...my arms and back are pretty sore from working with a chain saw all day on Tuesday. Today I'm heading out there to cut up the rest of the branches on a couple of trees that I cut down and then I'm working there Saturday and Sunday to run the guy's tree farm ("the guy" is Steve Peirce). Then....I'm working for another guy from the Tigard Church (Dave Dobbins) next week...sounds like he has some raking to be done and wants some Christmas lights put up.
And in other news - I just got back from a group interview for Wells Fargo...please pray that the job works out. It doesn't pay great but it pays...and better then some of the other stuff I've been seeing - and...I get 4 weeks off paid right away. The interview went well but there were 12 people there and there are not a whole lot of positions to be filled - I'll keep everyone up to date.
And finally....one week till we find out if we're having a boy or a girl! Whohoo!!!...
And before I go, I've go to mention...we had a minor gas leak in the garage on Monday so they came to check it out...and then shut off our gas till we get it fixed!!!! IT'S FREEZING IN HERE!!!...but I think I fixed the problem last night. I was up till 1am pulling the pipes out, putting sealant on the threads and then putting them back together. They'll come out later today to check it...and hopefully turn our heat back on.
